First Nations employees’ rights

Are you of Aboriginal and/ or Torres Strait Islander descent? If so, we have a webinar coming up for First Nations members about the significant improvements to the workplace rights of First Nations APS employees the CPSU achieved in bargaining.

CPSU National Secretary Melissa Donnelly, Service-Wide Bargaining Team member Jo Kerr, and Services Australia Governing Councillor Ikini Frape will provide an in-depth look at your new and improved workplace rights as First Nations APS employees.

This webinar is for members who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. It and will cover improvements to ceremonial leave, NAIDOC leave, as well as First Nations-specific improvements to entitlements, such as flexible work requests.
