Negotiations for a new ABC Retail agreement to commence

The CPSU are delighted to advise that negotiations for a new ABC Retail agreement will commence shortly.
On Monday, CPSU and ABC representatives met in Fair Work Australia and agreed
to commence negotiations. The ABC has also agreed to cease the roll-out of
conditional contracts effective immediately.
Congratulations to the 200 Retail employees who completed the CPSU survey.
Based on your responses, Fair Work Australia determined that there is majority
support for a new agreement.
The CPSU will be contacting the ABC next week to discuss a timeline for
bargaining. We will also be sending members the survey results and draft claim
for you to review.
