feedback. This claim will soon be circulated for your comment and member
endorsement. In the meantime, to facilitate the progress of your CA
negotiations, your union representatives have begun without prejudice,
preliminary discussions of the draft bargaining claim.
Information sessions
Our survey indicated strong support for information sessions that explain the
bargaining process and the new bargaining environment. CPSU is working with
elected staff representatives and management to set up a series of paid time
meetings, across all staff groups, where this information will be provided.
Bargaining to win
NMA staff have clearly said you want a fair pay rise and an agreement that
maintains and improves your employment conditions. Management will be under
pressure from Government policy to fund a pay rise from existing budgets and
identify productivity gains throughout NMA to meeting the increased 2%
efficiency dividend. The only way to support fair pay and improved conditions is
through majority union support. A majority of staff behind your union pushing
our bargaining claim means better pay and conditions for you!
