CRS - how does your CA compare?

8 May 2008, 2:52pm

After a decade of non-union agreements in CRS your pay, conditions and rights have fallen behind that of your APS colleagues.

The good news is that your decision to choose a union negotiated collective agreement is an opportunity for you to have a positive bargaining process and a genuine say in your pay, conditions, and rights.

Your conditions are not keeping pace with your APS colleagues: our preliminary analysis shows
  • Only a basic level of paid maternity leave
  • No guaranteed 15.4% super entitlement
  • Poor redundancy entitlements.
  • Conditions in policy (can be change without your consent). Eg: studies assistance, remote site allowance
  • Hours of work increased
  • Limited support for professional development
  • You have to work for your Christmas closedown
  • No rights or facilities for workplace representatives.
  • Limited rights to consultation

We need all staff to tell us what is important for you and what you want by Friday 9 May 2008, whether you are on an AWA or on the current Certified Agreement.

The online survey is easy to fill out - click here
