NGA management’s offer – Is it good enough?

Last week management contacted CPSU with an offer for your next collective agreement. The table below details some key aspects of their proposals. There is now a short window to gather your feedback before we go back to the table for further discussions scheduled for this Thursday.

Your future pay and conditions are at stake – so please take some time to consider the offer, have your say and let us know what you’d be prepared to do to help the campaign.

Management offer CPSU/ Staff position
3.5.% per annum over 3 years + 0.5 conditional to 95% of staff of staff having an IDPA in place APS-wide pay claim of 5% per annum
Move from 38 Hrs to 37.5 for rostered employees Not agreed but open to negotiation
Reduced sick leave days without certificate from 10 to 8 Not agreed
Moving leave to come out of recreational leave rather than personal leave Not agreed
Remove your ability to accumulate up to 75 hours of flextime to1 week of rec leave and replace with maximum 25 hours Not agreed

Outstanding Union/ staff position

  • 5% pay rise
  • 15.4% Super employer contribution for all staff (45 people affected)
  • Increase supporting partner leave from 2 weeks to 6 weeks
