The long wait for an pay offer is nearly over. Will it be too little too late?
At the last Workplace Bargaining Team (WBT) meeting, management announced there would finally be a pay offer for staff tabled before the next meeting on Thursday 14 August.
This pay offer has been too long coming, but with firm numbers on the table we can start to finalise the new agreement. The table below sets out the current state of play.
How do we make a good deal happen?
We still face an uphill battle to ensure the pay rise is enough across the agency and your rights are protected for the next three years. You've told your union reps what you want out of the agreement and we're working to make it happen.
But we need your help. Every extra person who joins the union increases our collective bargaining power. And more bargaining power means a better deal.
If you want to look after your workmates, and keep AFMA ahead of the curve, join CPSU today.
