Negotiations for your pay and conditions in Finance begin

24 September 2008, 11:29am

On Monday 15 September your union bargaining team met with management to begin negotiations for a union collective agreement for Finance employees.

What happened at the meeting?

  • Your union presented the endorsed bargaining position to management and outlined the key issues of concern to staff.
  • Management agreed to provide access to meeting rooms for the union to report information to staff as negotiations continue.
  • We discussed ways to provide information to all staff through email. As a union collective agreement will cover all staff, it is only fair that all staff have access to union information.

If you would like to receive emails directly from the CPSU please contact shallain.mccarney@cpsu.org.au and we will add you to our distribution list.

Next steps

Your union bargaining team will meet with management for further discussion on Monday 13 October and will keep you up to date with any progress.

Stronger together

Union membership is growing with more staff joining the CPSU every week. Members in workplaces across the country are volunteering to campaign for fairer conditions. Your support makes a difference. The skill and experience of your union bargaining team helps, but the activity of members in the workplace is the key to getting a good outcome. Join online today.
