Holiday Homes

The CPSU SPSF Group has decided that PSU Group members may have access to their holiday homes. Details appear below. Simply complete the booking form (under the Resource link at the top right hand side of this page) and fax through to the PSU Group Regional Office on 08 8150 8418.

The homes are available to financial members only and the PSU Group will confirm that with the SPSF Office. SPSF staff will then make arrangements directly with those applying.

Weekly rates as below, or $60 a night. Off season is between June and September (excluding school holidays). For further information, including photos, please look at the Holiday Homes page of the PSA website

One week bookings cannot be made more than 9 months in advance - this does not include school holidays. Day/s bookings can only be made one month in advance.

Holiday period ballots close

September 31 March

The maximum booking period is two weeks - this does not include school holidays. List dates in order of preference when applying.

Tasmanian members

Village Cinema tickets

Tasmanian members can purchase discounted movie tickets for use at Village cinemas in Tasmania at the rate of $9.50 for adults and $8.00 for children. Tickets are available at the Hobart office between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Please note: children's tickets are not for use after 5pm on Saturdays.

State Cinema tickets

Are now available at a discounted price to CPSU members through the Tasmanian Regional Office.

Taxation, Accounting and Financial Planning Services

Tasmanian members have access to a 15% discount on tax returns and accounting through GDA Advisory Pty Ltd. Standard tax returns start from $110 inc GST.

Tasmanian members have access to a one hour initial meeting at no cost and then a 15% discount on initial financial planning fees with GDA Financial Services Pty Ltd. GDA is an independently owned boutique financial planning practice that specialises in advice to CSS and PSS members.

GDA also present regular seminars on the CSS and PSS Super Schemes. There is no cost to attend these seminars. Download the 2013 seminar program here .

Legal services

Tasmanian members have access to a special deal with the state's leading labour law firm Ogilvie Jennings. This includes:
  • no win no fee on injury and compensation cases
  • 20% to normal fee on a range of matters, and
  • a flat fee of $55 for wills.
