Centrelink safety

CPSU knows the best way to protect your rights is with an enforceable Health and Safety Management agreement that allows you to refer disputes to an independent umpire.

CPSU proposed guidelines for Centrelink HSMA

CPSU has provided Centrelink with the set of guidelines which are based on Centrelink employees' feedback and the OHS Principles supported by CPSU members.

You can download this important document here.

This document is the original provided to Centrelink. It is a working document and will change as discussions with Centrelink progress. Your CPSU representatives are waiting for Centrelink to provide a response to these guidelines and when they do, we will post the response on this site for your further feedback.

We want to know what you think.

Tell us your thoughts/comments or ask a question by emailing arian.mcveigh@cpsu.org.au

Your right to a safe and healthy workplace

  • Be part of decision making on health and safety issues
  • Be represented by your union
  • Take action to raise and resolve threats to your health and safety
  • Democratically elect your health and safety representatives
  • A just and equitable compensation system
