A strong safety net if things go wrong

The CPSU helps you resolve problems or issues related to work. Whether you want to find out more about your rights to flexible working, negotiate fair employment or defend yourself against changes that would have a negative impact on your employment, the CPSU is here for you. Our Member Service Centre is open from 8am to 8pm (AEST), Monday to Friday.

Not a member?

CPSU members receive a wide range of discounts and deals. For most CPSU members it costs between $13 and $17 a week to be part of the union and less for part-timers. Union membership is tax deductible, too, so when you combine that saving with the many benefits of being in a union, joining is a smart move. You can join online here or by calling 1300 137 636.

Critical Incident Service

CPSU members in eligible law enforcement roles now have access to free criminal law advice through Slater+Gordon Lawyers’ Critical Incident Service (CIS). It's another way CPSU protects members in front line jobs when it counts. More information here.

Journey cover

CPSU journey cover is a free benefit available exclusively to CPSU members. It protects you in case you have an accident to or from work. Follow this link for more information about how it works.
