Garnaut report due for release today, Shergold warns that climate "behaviours must change", Reports that Belinda Neal's political career is finished and freedom at last for Ingrid Betancourt.

Garnaut report: The issue of climate change will take centre stage today with Economist Ross Garnault dure to release his long awaited draft report into the establishment of an emissions trading scheme. For full coverage, including news reports and live video from Canberra, visit ABC Online.

Shergold's view: Former top public servant Peter Shergold was tasked by the previous Government to investigate the implementation of an emissions trading scheme and has told ABC's AM program that the success of the ETS will be measured by changes in behaviour. Link to transcript and audio here.
