CPSU Machinery of Government update for DCCEE members - 27 March 2013
Through a Machinery of Government (MoG) change announced by the Prime Minister on 25 March, staff working in DCCEE will be transferred. Staff in Energy Efficiency functions will move to DRET while most other functions will move DIISRTE. CPSU welcomes these moves as they will provide some certainty for DCCEE employees. [read more]
Clear VR process could reduce uncertainty at MDBA - 21 March 2013
Due to the impact of state government funding cuts, it is likely that the Murray Darling Basin Authority (MDBA) will face significant job losses in the next few months. Funding is still being finalised, and the decision from the Ministerial Council has been delayed until the middle of April, at the earliest. [read more]
