1) ACTU thinks big with future agenda

Australia's peak union body has announced a new campaign plan as part of the labour movement's future agenda to improve wages, conditions and super for Australian working people. Read more here or email cpsunews@cpsu.org.au to request a copy of the strategy document.

2) Union calls for redeployment action as PS cuts loom

The CPSU has called for immediate action to establish a 'whole-of-government' approach to redeployment as the public service braces for more cuts and a tough Budget. Read news item and have your say here . Visit CPSU campaign page here.

3) Women still earn 16% less than men

Ahead of International Women’s Day (IWD) on 8 March, a global study of sixty-three nations has revealed women across all industries and age groups are being paid on average 16% less than men. 5) CPSU welcomes new PS bargaining guidelines
