On Wednesday 7 June, CPSU members are wearing red to send a strong message to the APSC and government that CPSU members are united in standing for a fair deal in bargaining.

Your CPSU bargaining team asked if you thought the Government’s initial pay offer was good enough. More than 15,000 members spoke up.

Together, you have made it clear that the Government’s pay offer of 10.5% is not good enough - 86% voted NO to reject the offer.

Your CPSU bargaining team head back to the negotiating table with the weight of members behind them. But we want to make sure that our agencies, the APSC and the Government understand that members right across the APS are asking for an improved pay offer.

The Government has talked the talk. Now it’s time to walk the walk!

You can still snap a "shoe selfie" and tell your story

We know not everyone likes to share their face on social media, so this is an activity everyone can participate in. Use our mobile-friendly form below to upload a pic and tell us about the work you do and why a decent pay rise is important to you. By sharing your story you can help make the case for a fair pay rise for APS workers.

We will be posting your stories on CPSU social media channels in a way that does not identify individuals publicly. So share your story and encourage your colleagues do the same.

If you want to post to social media yourself, please tag @CPSUnion and use the hashtags #WalkTheWalk and #GetWagesMoving.
