Terms & Conditions

• The purpose of this prize draw is to promote participation in the Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU) and Community and Public Sector Union (CPSU) Exit Survey. • The promotion commences at 12:01am AEST on 12th September 2023 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 1st October 2023.
• Entry is only open to previous members of CPSU, aged 16 years or older, who receive an invitation to take part in the Exit survey and submit a complete response to this survey, which is being conducted by the ACTU on behalf of the Promoter. Only one entry is allowed per person.
• Employees of the Promoter, the ACTU, and their family members are not eligible.
• Entry into the promotion is free, however, to enter, respondents must fully complete the online survey during the Promotional Period.
• People completing the survey will automatically be entered in the draw to win one of five individual prizes of $100.
• There are five individual prizes with a total prize pool value of $500.
• The prize will be delivered via email and is not transferable.
• The draw will take place on 5 October 2023 11:30AM at the ACTU, 365 Queen Street, Melbourne, Victoria. Entrants are not required to attend the draw.
• Following the draw, winners will be notified by email by 16th October 2023, and the winners’ names will be published on the Promoter’s website by 20th October 2023. If a prize is unclaimed within two weeks of notification, the winner will forfeit their claim to a prize, and the Promoter reserves the right to draw another name.
• Given the prize pool total and the nature of this draw as a trade promotional lottery, no permit is currently required for any of the Australian jurisdictions; the draw will be conducted in compliance with all relevant legislation.
