Australia Post will have just communicated with you about its offer, which will be:

  • Pay – 3% per annum for each year of the three year life of the EBA. The 3% pay increase will be applied to your base salary, in September 2021, 2022 and 2023. It will apply cumulatively.

  • Allowances – 3% increase to allowances (so that allowances increase with pay).

  • Conditions – All conditions currently in your EBA are maintained in the new EBA.

  • In addition, Australia Post has agreed to continue to work with the CPSU over the next three years to resolve a number of issues that we know are important to you, including opportunities for learning and development, pathways for reviewing classifications, and consultation, and working from home arrangements.

We want to acknowledge the enormous contribution of CPSU members and delegates, particularly Judy Svarcs and Natalie Rolfe, to the bargaining process. The pay offer by Australia Post exceeds that which is being presented across the Australia Public Service under the Australian Public Service Commission’s Workplace Relations Policy, which ties pay increases to the Wage Price Index (currently 1.7%).
