We are still waiting on E&S management to provide the WHS risks assessments on current and proposed workloads of affected Audio Engineers, Producers and Presenters across the various program teams.
This information was requested by the CPSU on 28 June, and again in writing last Thursday.
This information matters because how E&S managers have assessed your current and proposed workloads is crucial to understanding the likely effect of the proposed changes. It also speak directly to whether what is being proposed, is operationally feasible. Workloads and work intensification are known hazards in the workplace and the risks associated with them need to be carefully assessed in consultation with staff.
It’s unclear why the provision of this information is taking so long but the ABC has indicated it will be provided later this afternoon. We will keep you posted.
