Brisbane to enter three-day lockdown

The news of a three-day COVID-19 lockdown in greater Brisbane is unsettling and we understand that many of our members are waiting on advice from their agencies on how it's going to be managed.

We are contacting employers on behalf of members to seek updates on their plans and to call on them to provide timely, up-to-date information and advice to all affected workers.

As the situation is in its initial stages and has potential to change quickly please continue to monitor the Queensland Health Department website for the latest updates and advice.

We also want to remind you that your union is here for you. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you need assistance.

Whether it's in relation to working from home arrangements, you need assistance with health and safety issues, or just want to know what your rights are – we’re here.

We know many of our members are continuing to attend workplaces and providing critical support to the community. The work you are doing is absolutely vital and we are proud of you.

Our Member Service Centre is open 8am – 8pm AEST Monday – Friday. Call 1300 137 636 or email
