Thank you to those who have already attended a CPSU Change the Rules Calling night
We are now escalating our call evenings as we get closer to the election.
This Federal Election will be crucial in deciding who makes the rules we’re trying to change, and in the APS who our employer will be. Like other workers, we are in a workplace system where the rules are broken and don’t deliver for working people. Our pay is going backwards while we lose job security. Our capacity to do a good job for the community is reduced while we face cuts to our rights. Years of staffing caps, budget cuts, outsourcing, labour hire and privatisation in the Federal Public Service are taking their toll.
That is why we are talking to our members in key marginal seats and asking them to vote for a party that supports our Change the Rules agenda.
We will be calling every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday until the election (excluding Easter week and the Thursday prior).
