Every year the federal Government conducts the APS staff census, surveying employees’ attitudes and opinions on job satisfaction, leadership, training and more. The results inform important decisions about the direction and workings of the APS... but tens of thousands of workers are left out.
The CPSU believes workers on labour hire contracts who perform public sector work should be included in the census – without your input, the results will miss a large part of the workforce.
That is why our union is launching our own census to hear from the tens of thousands of APS workers on labour hire contracts who the Government refuses to acknowledge.
All workers performing APS work who are on labour hire contracts are invited to have your say:
Your input will be used to:
- provide a labour hire perspective on key challenges facing the APS
- identify workplace issues, and
- push the Government and Departments to include the views and attitudes of labour hire workers in planning and key decision making into the future.
GET INVOLVED AND BE COUNTED
Workers on labour hire contracts deserve respect, job security and equal pay for equal work, and they deserve to be heard.
