Victoria: Your union is here for you

The Victorian Government has just announced increased restrictions to control the escalation in COVID-19 cases.

Throughout this pandemic, things have been changing frequently and quickly. We know that this can be extremely unsettling and confusing for people.

Your union is here for you

Whether you want to access working from home arrangements, need assistance with health and safety issues, or just want to know what your rights are – we’re here.

We know many of our members are continuing to attend workplaces and providing critical support to the community. Thank you for your efforts – we are proud of the difference you are making.

Whatever you’re doing, and however you’re affected, our staff, our workplace delegates, and our health and safety reps can provide you with expert advice, support, and representation.

We are in this together. I know that’s something you have been hearing a lot… but it’s true and it’s what unions do best.

Please keep an eye out on news and social media for the specifics of the Premier’s announcement and to find out how they apply to you.

Don’t hesitate to contact us if you need assistance. We have already had contact from a number of Victorian members and encourage any other members with questions or concerns to get in touch.

If you are not a member, you can join here.

Our Member Service Centre is open 8am – 8pm Monday – Friday. Call 1300 137 636 or email members@cpsu.org.au.

In unity,

Melissa Donnelly, CPSU National Secretary
