The CPSU Governing Council is a directly elected body whose role is to determine the strategic direction and objectives of the union.

It is made up of:

  • Seven full-time CPSU National Officers (Executive Committee) directly elected by a vote of all members
  • Over 60 honorary officials directly elected from workplaces by members in the relevant Sections of the union.

Minutes and agendas of meetings

Executive Committee (EC) and Governing Council (GC) minutes and agendas are available to CPSU members on request. Please email the National Secretariat or call the MSC on 1300 137 636 to request a copy. Proof of membership may be required.

Vale Charlie Thomas (1962 – 2012) - 11 January 2012
CPSU staff, officials and members have been shocked and saddened by the sudden death of Member Service Centre Director, Charlie Thomas last week, from a heart attack.
