CPSU elections

The CPSU's executive committee The CPSU's executive committee
Find out about CPSU elections here.

The AEC has declared the results of the 2008 CPSU election

The following members have been elected to full-time paid positions on the CPSU Executive Committee and will be responsible for the day to day running of the union until 2012.

  • National Secretary: Stephen Jones
  • Assistant National Secretary: Mark Gepp
  • National President: Louise Persse
  • Deputy National President: Lisa Newman
  • Deputy National President: Michael Tull
  • Deputy Secretary: Rupert Evans
  • Deputy Secretary: Nadine Flood

Congratulations

Along side these national results, many hundreds of CPSU members have also been elected by their colleagues to represent the views of their workplaces in a range of Section and National union forums.

Congratulations to all the candidates - elected or not - and thank you to everyone who took time to cast a vote.

Thanks, too, to the hardworking staff of the Australian Electoral Commission for the highly professional way they ran the election process.
