Have your say on AWM pay

21 April 2010, 11:52am

Your union continues to seek your support for a 3% pay rise and a better way to bargain.

We need your feedback on AWM pay before meeting management on Tuesday 27 April. This is a reminder to complete our very brief snap poll sent last Wednesday. Click here to have your say by Friday 23 April.

Small steps, but not there yet

Management says anything greater than a 2.75% pay rise would cost jobs. 5 weeks ago they said anything greater than 1.5% would cost jobs – so we’re making progress. CPSU is committed to work with the AWM to find the additional 0.25% productivity so you can receive a 3% pay rise like other APS Agencies.

New Fair Work laws encourage you to participate

  • The right to participate and be treated with respect
  • The right to freely express your views and have them represented
  • Specific rights for delegates including that their role is supported.

Participate now - complete our snap poll

Before meeting management on Tuesday, we are seeking your support for a 3% pay rise consistent with Government policy and other APS EAs. We are also seeking your support for a better way to bargain. Have your say now in the poll below or online here.

Membership makes a difference

By being union members you help provide the clout and resources we need to continue work to protect your rights and address unfair gaps in APS pay and conditions. Not to mention the benefits like free journey cover insurance and legal services, and discount shopping, banking and travel. Membership fees are tax-deductible and tiered to salary so the less you earn, the less you pay. Find out more and join online here.
