Sensis redundancies - urgent meetings - 2 February 2012
On Tuesday Sensis announced over 100 redundancies as part of on-going “cost savings” in their customer and corporate areas. Most of the affected positions will be in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane with the majority of affected roles in the sales teams.

Job security in Australia Network - 7 December 2011
The CPSU is seeking a meeting with ABC management to discuss the plans to integrate Australia Network and Radio Australia. We are also seeking permanent employment for eligible contract staff following the Federal Government’s decision last night to award the Australia Network contract to the ABC.

SBS agreement begins today - 6 December 2011
The 2011-2013 SBS agreement comes into force today. This means that staff will receive a 3%pay increase in their next pay cycle. Additional increases will be subject to staff achieving an “Exceeds” or “Outstanding” rating in their career performance appraisal.
