DIAC to extend Wednesday hours from 8 October - 7 October 2008 On 1 October management announced that DIAC offices will be opening on Wednesday afternoons from 8 October. Your union has been able to negotiate a form of words which gives staff some protections under the new arrangements.

Accessing unplanned leave in DIAC TIS- 26 August 2008 TIS union members have reported management is continuing to treat staff poorly around unplanned leave. This includes staff being told their contract may not be renewed due to having taken minimal unplanned leave.
