APSC review: your input on APS Values is needed now!
29 July 2010, 8:15am
The Moran Report recommendation to “revise and embed” APS values has begun, with the Australian Public Service Commission (APSC) currently conducting a consultation and participatory forum on the Values which should guide the APS.
The APSC have released a discussion paper, Refining the Australian
Public Service Values—A discussion paper which is available here.
The APSC wants to get a set of Values that will be relevant and useful to all
APS employees and guide strong performance across the APS.
APS Values Forum
To
help facilitate APS employees participation in this consultation, the APSC are
asking for APS employees input into an online discussion forum. The forum will
be open until 2 August.
APS employees who would like to make a comment but do
not want to be part of the discussion forum can send comments and submissions to ourvalues@apsc.gov.au.
CPSU submission
The CPSU is in the process of finalising
its own submission to the APSC’s consultation about Values. If members wish to
have further input into this submission, please email your comments to research@cpsu.org.au
