Skills, training and confidence
CPSU delegates are provided with the training and support to perform their role in a confident and professional manner. Becoming a delegate is a great way to develop your communication, problem solving and negotiation skills – giving you confidence at work and beyond. In large workplaces CPSU delegates work together as a delegates committee. New delegates get lots of support from other CPSU leaders in the workplace.
Take a positive step
The position generally lasts for one year and full training is provided. If there are a more nominations than positions available an election is held. Women, indigenous members, people with a disability and members from non-English speaking backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Delegates to focus on growth- 20 February 2013 CPSU delegates are taking up the challenge this month to help the CPSU become a bigger, stronger union. Over the next few weeks they will be stepping up their efforts to get more of their colleagues to join the union.
