Agency-specific negotiations are underway

Core conditions for all APS employees will be discussed in negotiations between your CPSU representatives and the APSC. CPSU members also have the opportunity to negotiate improvements that are specific to their agency in agency-level bargaining.

Some topics have now been “released” for agency-level bargaining, which means CPSU bargaining teams can negotiate those topics directly with agencies. CPSU model clauses on these topics are provided below for members.

• Leave without pay (the period that counts as service referred to Part B) (no CPSU clause)
• Overtime and shift penalties
• Recruitment and mobility (no CPSU clause)

• Sabbatical leave (no CPSU clause)

• Travel (no clause)
• Working hours – agencies can bargain to reduce to 37.5 hours per week where working hours are longer (no clause)
