27 May to 3 June is National Reconciliation Week

National Reconciliation Week started as the Week of Prayer for Reconciliation in 1993 (the International Year of the World’s Indigenous Peoples) and was supported by Australia’s major faith communities.

In 2023, three decades on, the theme for National Reconciliation Week is Be a Voice for Generations.

The theme encourages all Australians to be a voice for reconciliation in tangible ways in our everyday lives – where we live, work and socialise.

You can find local events and activities wherever you live on the National Reconciliation Week 2023 website .
