The popular CPSU information sessions on The Voice to Parliament are back.

The CPSU is proudly united with other unions across Australia in campaigning for YES to constitutional recognition of A Voice to Parliament for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

These one-hour information sessions are for CPSU members only and will be held via Zoom.

You can register for a Voice to Parliament information session here

The sessions will cover

  • The origins of The Voice and the design principles
  • The referendum question and proposed constitutional amendment
  • Why this is union business and what you can do in your workplace
  • Where you can find more information and get more involved.

If you don't know, find out! The Australian Government has a website dedicated to information on the Referendum - The Voice

A positive reminder that all APS workers are entitled to have an opinion and express that view, as long as the expression of that does not undermine “public confidence in the integrity and impartiality of the APS.” For example, this could include a kind inclusive discussion in your lunchroom that recognises cultural load. Talk with your delegate or organiser about getting the latest CPSU authorised materials for your workplace and union noticeboard.
