Bullying is an identified hazard in the Model Code of Practice: Managing Psychosocial Hazards at Work.

Bullying is repeated, unreasonable behaviour directed towards a worker or group of workers which creates a risk to health and safety. It can include bullying by workers, clients, visitors or others and often results from a poor workplace culture which allows this behaviour to occur.

The hierarchy of control offers strategies to ensure that employees are protected where it is not reasonably practicable to eliminate risks.
