Neurodivergence is when a person’s neurobiology (their brain and body processing) diverges from what’s considered neurotypical. Neurodivergences can impede or restrict everyday activities at work and this quick factsheet has been developed for workers to understand their workplace rights to ensure their individual circumstances are considered when designing the way work is done to mitigate the risk of psychological injury.
