Australia has come a long way since the onset of the COVID pandemic. More is known and about the virus, and vaccinations are available. While COVID restrictions have eased, and there are no longer mandatory isolation requirements, your employer’s duty to do all that is reasonably practicable to minimise the risk of COVID transmissions in the workplace remains. This duty includes ongoing monitoring and where necessary, reviewing safety controls if they do not remain effective.
