Governing Council meets this week

Governing Council is our peak decision-making body, and it meets this week in Melbourne.

Governing Councillors have an important job to do, and will make decisions about our direction, how we grow, how we represent and defend members, our governance and our leadership transition. These are your representatives, elected by members. GC makes all these decisions according to union values, legislative requirements as officers and – most importantly – what's best for our members. Our workplace leaders will set industrial and policy priorities including on bargaining. They will share information and successes we’ve had in enforcing agreements and representing members in the workplace.

They’ll also be considering the results of our membership survey – you've still got the chance to make sure your views are heard. (ATO members - click here)
