What Women Want Report 2018

The Community and Public Sector Union (CPSU) is committed to providing a strong voice for our members in key public policy and political debates. To better represent our women members, the CPSU carries out a biennial What Women Want survey. The survey was conducted in 2017 for the ninth time. For over a decade, Governments have seen the importance of this work and major Commonwealth agencies have assisted in facilitating the CPSU sending this survey to their workforce. Disappointingly, this support was withdrawn in 2017 under the Commonwealth Government’s more hostile industrial relations policy. As a result, in 2017, 5,680 women participated in the survey, a substantial decrease from 12,502 in 2015
