The CPSU was very supportive and helpful throughout the PIP process
A long time member of the CPSU had never used the Member Service Centre since joining. Recently the member found himself on an 8 week performance improvement plan (PIP) after his Director stepped in to overrule a positive performance review from the member’s direct manager.
The member contacted the CPSU prior to the start of his PIP and with the support and advice of one of the Member Service Centre industrial organisers he was able to complete the PIP successfully.
The member told us “The MSC was very supportive and helpful throughout my PIP process. The CPSU organiser who assisted me was very professional and provided timely and accurate minutes of what occurred during the PIP meetings, meaning that there was never any doubt of what had been said. With the MSC’s help I completed my PIP and have subsequently been rated satisfactory ”.
